Big Head Games and Zoë Mode to Duet on Development of
Grease for Nintendo Wii™ and DS™

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. - Feb. 24, 2010 – Global videogame publisher, 505 Games today announced it has selected two developers to work on the upcoming Grease video game for Nintendo Wii™ and DS™. Based on Paramount Pictures’ classic film “Grease”, UK developer Zoë Mode will develop the Nintendo Wii™ version and Big Head Games will develop a version for the Nintendo DS™.

“To develop a game based on a timeless franchise like ‘Grease’ with such a dedicated following, we knew we had to find developers who would stay true to the world of high school romance and hot rod cars, and create a game that fans from all generations can enjoy,” said Adam Kline, president of 505 Games US. “With Zoë Mode and Big Head Games, we are confident that we will create a video game worthy of a film that has experienced over 30 years of success.”

Zoë Mode is best known for its work on the enduringly popular Singstar series, as well as Eye Toy: Play and Disney Sing It. Formed in 2007 out of Kuju Brighton, the company now boasts a London arm as well as a newly announced studio in San Francisco.

Grease is an iconic brand that has spanned generations and we are thrilled to be charged with the responsibility of bringing the Grease legacy to a new medium,” said Ed Daly, General Manager of Zoë Mode.

Since its formation in 2008, Big Head Games has steadily built a strong reputation for producing quality handheld titles.

Managing Director of Big Head Games, Dave Vout commented, “We’re very excited by this project as Grease is the one film everyone remembers. It’s a true classic and we hope to do it justice”.
