Celebrating the greatest songs in American cinema over the last 100 years was music to fans’ ears in AFI’s 100 Years…100 Songs CBS special which aired on June 29.  The extremely popular annual special which entered its seventh year, averaged over 12 million viewers throughout its three hours and won its timeslot as the number one rated program.
 
Leading up to the pivotal 2008 presidential election, Current reached out to Twitter on a multimedia project; namely to post “tweets” during its broadcast of the three presidential “Hack” is the first time in history that live tweets were broadcast during the presidential debates, and the only network to allow its audience to directly interact (i.e., hack) during the debates in this manner. Current also partnered with Adobe, and Adobe developed a unique Flash program to easily transfer the tweets to broadcast and also animate the tweets.
 
On September 21, 2008 the Emmys welcomed the return of TV personalities Lisa Rinna and Joey Fatone as TV Guide Network’s red carpet hosts.  By executing a successful public relations campaign, PR secured television, radio, print and online coverage nationwide across the top 20 markets!  Constant media presence reinforced the Network’s reputation as the primary pre-show destination and elevated their talent’s position as the red carpet experts.
